As
a son you were the first born, caring, respectful
and cherished.
As
a brother you were an example, giving, thoughtful
and remembered.
As
a husband you were a provider, a struggler
and loved.
As
a grandpa you were silly, funny and adored.
As
my father you are missed dearly. Thank you
dad for all the wonderful years in which
you were able to give me all the love possible.
Although your life did end tragically,you
always lived it happily--always smiling and
looking at the lighter side of life. I thank
you Dad for
being the best father I could ask for.You
were always accepting, forgiving, and non-judgmental.
I knew I could always count on your being
there for me. I know you have not left me
and are now my guardian angel.Thank you for
your birthday present to me,as your message
was clearly received. Although I suffer because
you are not physically by my side, I have
some comfort when I think that I will one
day see you in Heaven again. Words cannot
express the emptiness I feel because I must
wait until I am called upon to see you again.
I can only accept and not question why you
had to leave, but I know you will never stop
loving me or never leave my side. Our relationship
has not ended,but only changed and will continue
to grow. You
still surround me daily and I will continue
to have you in my thoughts, today and always
until we meet again.

and the life, he who believes in Me will live
even though he dies, and whoever lives and
believes in Me will never die." John
