If you enjoy playing games, please join me on Saturday, March 12, from 1 to 5 pm, on the 78th floor of Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower). All proceeds will benefit the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (AAIM). As some of you know, I became involved with AAIM after an AAIM advocate helped guide my family through the criminal court proceedings against the intoxicated driver who caused my parents' deaths. AAIM helps raise awareness about, and prevent, injuries and deaths caused by intoxicated or distracted motorists, works to educate the community about the dangers of underage drinking, supports strong DUI laws, and provides invaluable assistance to victims and their loved ones.
The requested donation is $10 for those 10 and up, $5 for children under 10. There will be board games, trivia games, strategy games, word games, card games, just about anything you can think of.
No need to pay in advance, but if you think you may attend, please RSVP on or before March 9 so your name can be included for entry to the Willis Tower. Use the Franklin entrance to the Tower and go to the security desk for a visitor pass. The Tower is near several Metra and L stops. If you need more info, please call me.
