Linda
Irwin Recipient of Sheila Forsner Award
In
1997, a drunk driver killed Linda's 17-year old
daughter, Tiffany. Ever since then Linda has been
involved with helping others. This is Linda's
fourth year serving on the Benefit Committee and
her third year as Silent Auction Chairperson.
She has sent letters, solicited items for the
auction, and put the packages together for the
event in order to raise money for victims of drunk
driving.
Linda is the mother of two surviving children.
She and her husband own a trucking company where
Linda works full time. She has devoted her time
and energy to helping others by speaking to schools
and on victim impact panels sharing her story
about the loss of her precious daughter Tiffany.
Her daughter Sondra also spoke for AAIM at schools,
panels and conferences about the pain of losing
her dear sister.
Linda has raised money for the Tiffany Irwin Scholarship
Fund to go to someone who has been victimized
by a drunk driver.
Linda's generosity and continuous support truly
make her a worthy recipient of this Award. AAIM
salutes her and her wonderful family.
