Amanda's
Story Video
Amanda's
story is sadly typical of a teen alcohol-related
crash. Her story is told from behind bars at
the Dwight Correctional Center. There were a
total of six occupants in Amanda's car the night
of the horrible crash. The driver, Amanda, age
17, her boyfriend, age 17, and her niece, age
15, were in the front seat and were killed.
Of the three passengers in the backseat, one
was critically injured and two suffered minor
injuries. It contains important messages for
both teens and parents. Its use is encouraged
in the classroom and at parent meetings.
