Whether you’re running or walking, alone or with a team, everyone is welcome to join the AAIM To Make a Difference 5K — Family Fun Race on 08/30/2026 at 9:00 AM at Mallard Lake Forest Preserve. This event is all about participation, community, and honoring those affected by impaired or reckless driving crashes. We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with families impacted by these tragedies; every step supports our Victims’ Assistance Fund, which provides essential help—groceries, transportation, funeral costs, education, and counseling—so families can begin to heal, rebuild, and partner with law enforcement and victim advocates working to prevent future losses.

Date: August 30, 2026 
Location: Mallard Lake Forest Preserve, Schick Rd., Hanover Park, IL.
(Mallard Lake entrance is on Schick Road 0.4 miles west of Gary Avenue)

Registration:

Register by 08/10/2026 to guarantee a T‑shirt.

• Adults: $30 (includes T‑shirt; XXL+ $5 extra)

• Children 12 & under: $20

• Children 3 & under: Free (T‑shirt $20)

• Customize your T‑shirt in honor of your loved one (Custom shirts must be ordered by 08/10/2026.)

• 11:00 AM — Raffles & live music

• 11:30 AM — Wrap-up & community celebration
